Unifying six chapters of Women in Management, Inc., the new website serves as an information resource for visitors and a professional networking and knowledge sharing tool for members of the group. The public portion of the site includes information about Women in Management, Inc. as well as information about each chapter, job openings and announcements posted by members, and an event calendar and registration tool. Visitors to the site can also fill out an on-line application to become a member of Women in Management, Inc. Members of Women in Management, Inc. can log-in to the member's only portion of the site for chapter newsletters, speaker handouts, a discussion board of topics relevant to professional women, and detailed member profiles. Member profiles can be searched and filtered by chapter, industry, company, and city, giving members the opportunity to network electronically with members from other chapters. Members will also soon be able to elevate each other's professional growth and development by sharing their knowledge, skills, and abilities with other members through the soon to be released Résumé Portal. A Speaker's Bureau page is also being planned for future development of the site. This tool would allow members to submit topics they give presentations on through their member profile. Visitors to the site can then peruse the intellectual assets of the group by searching the Speaker's Bureau page for speakers and their areas of expertise. Women in Management, Inc. is a dynamic group dedicated to the professional growth, development, and success of women. More than 325 members belong to the group in six chapters throughout Wisconsin including Fond du Lac, the Fox Cities, Oshkosh, Manitowoc, Ripon/Green Lake, and Sheboygan.
